BREAKTHROUGH WOMEN

Susie set up Breakthrough Women, a biannual event for businesswomen with Deborah Turner in 2016.

Female role models play an integral part in inspiring other women and raising their visibility in the workplace. The events were not about positive discrimination or demonising men, but to show that real success in business is possible for working women no matter how many responsibilities they’re juggling.

The events were for women halfway up the management ladder, or who have just started a business. The aim was to encourage more women to have the confidence to strive for business success.

These events regularly attracted over 70 attendees and were often held in collaboration with the Institute of Directors and Federation of Small Businesses. Susie sponsored each event allowing the ticket price to be heavily subsidised for small business owners.

Deborah continues to run these events with superstar business woman, Sue Hainsby. Alongside running her own business, Debroah is also the National Policy Champion for Women at the Federation of Small Businesses. Join their amazing networking events and masterclasses here.
